Nanny - Southampton Family

About the Role

Our client, a busy family in Southampton , is seeking a reliable and experienced Nanny to care for their young child/children. This role involves providing a safe, stimulating, and nurturing home environment, managing daily routines, and engaging the child in educational and fun activities. The ideal candidate will be proactive, caring, and possess excellent childcare skills, becoming an integral part of the family unit and contributing positively to the child's upbringing and development.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide attentive and loving care for the child/children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
• Plan and organise age-appropriate activities, including outings, playtime, and educational games.
• Manage daily routines such as feeding, napping, and hygiene.
• Prepare healthy and nutritious meals and snacks for the child/children.
• Maintain open and effective communication with the parents regarding the child's progress and daily activities.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Nanny or in a similar childcare role, with excellent references.
• Strong knowledge of child development and age-appropriate care practices.
• First Aid and CPR certification are essential.
• Ability to create a fun, engaging, and educational environment.
• Reliable, punctual, and possessing a genuine love for children.
