About the Role

Our client is seeking a warm, reliable, and experienced Nanny to join their family in Reading . This hybrid role offers a balanced approach, combining in-home care with the flexibility to integrate into the family's dynamic lifestyle. You will be responsible for the daily care, safety, and developmental stimulation of the children, creating a nurturing environment that supports their growth. This position requires a proactive individual who can build a strong rapport with both the children and parents, offering dependable support and contributing positively to the family unit. The role involves active participation in daily routines, educational activities, and general childcare duties.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide attentive and responsible care for children in their home environment.
• Plan and implement engaging age-appropriate activities, including educational play and outings.
• Assist with children's daily routines, such as meals, naps, and hygiene.
• Ensure a safe, clean, and stimulating environment for the children.
• Communicate effectively with parents about the children's day, progress, and any issues that arise.
• Maintain flexibility to adapt to the family's changing needs within the hybrid arrangement.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Nanny or in a similar childcare role.
• Strong understanding of child development and age-appropriate care practices.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• A patient, nurturing, and responsible demeanor.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid model, balancing independence with collaboration.
• Must hold a valid First Aid certificate and have an enhanced DBS check.
