About the Role
Our client is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented National Account Executive to support their key account management function within the vibrant FMCG sector in Plymouth . This role is crucial for providing administrative and analytical support to the National Account Managers, helping to ensure the smooth operation of relationships with major retail partners. You will be involved in analyzing sales data, preparing reports, managing promotional execution, and assisting with commercial planning. The ideal candidate is highly organized, possesses strong numerical skills, and has a keen interest in the fast-moving consumer goods industry, ready to develop their career in commercial sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive administrative and analytical support to National Account Managers for key FMCG accounts.
- Assist in the preparation of sales forecasts, budgets, and performance reports for major retail partners.
- Support the planning and execution of promotional activities and marketing initiatives in collaboration with the sales and marketing teams.
- Maintain accurate customer databases and ensure all account information is up-to-date.
- Analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and potential issues within specific accounts in Plymouth .
- Liaise with internal departments (e.g., supply chain, finance) to ensure effective account management and issue resolution.
Requirements
- Previous experience in an Account Executive, Sales Support, or administrative role, ideally within FMCG or retail.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with a high level of attention to detail.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build working relationships.
- A proactive attitude and a desire to learn and grow within a sales environment.
- Based in or able to commute to our client's office in Plymouth .
