Generics Pharmaceuticals | Fully Remote, UK Field-Based

We are partnering exclusively with an ambitious and growing pharmaceutical organisation as they continue to expand their presence across the UK.
With a growing portfolio of generic medicines, continued investment and exciting commercial ambitions, our client is seeking an experienced National Account Manager (Hospitals) to lead the development of strategic NHS and hospital accounts across the UK.

The Opportunity
As National Account Manager, you’ll take ownership of developing and growing hospital sales across the UK, working strategically with NHS customers, procurement teams, hospital pharmacy departments and key stakeholders.
Success in this role will come from understanding the complexities of the NHS purchasing landscape, identifying commercial opportunities and building trusted, long-term relationships that deliver sustainable growth.
You’ll join a collaborative organisation where ideas are encouraged, decisions are made quickly and individuals are empowered to make a genuine impact.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and grow sales across NHS Trusts and hospital customers throughout the UK.
* Build and strengthen relationships with procurement teams, hospital pharmacists and other key NHS stakeholders.
* Identify and secure new commercial opportunities across the hospital sector.
* Develop strategic account plans aligned to NHS and customer objectives.
* Navigate NHS procurement processes, frameworks and tender opportunities.
* Work collaboratively with Commercial, Regulatory, Supply Chain and Quality teams to ensure exceptional customer delivery.
* Monitor market activity, competitor developments and changes within the NHS landscape.
* Represent the business professionally during customer meetings, commercial negotiations and industry events.
* Contribute to the ongoing commercial strategy as the organisation continues to grow.
About You
We’re looking for a commercially driven pharmaceutical sales professional with a proven track record of success within the UK hospital generics market.
You’ll understand how to navigate complex NHS sales environments, build influential relationships and manage longer-term strategic opportunities.
To be successful, you’ll bring:
* A proven track record of selling generic pharmaceutical products into UK hospitals (essential).
* A strong understanding of NHS procurement, purchasing processes and framework agreements.
* Experience managing relationships across NHS Trusts, hospital pharmacy departments and procurement organisations.
* An established network of contacts within the UK hospital sector.
* A strategic and consultative sales approach with the ability to manage complex sales cycles.
* Strong commercial awareness with the ability to identify and convert new business opportunities.
* Excellent communication, influencing and relationship-building skills.
* A proactive, self-motivated approach and the ability to work autonomously within a field-based role.
