About the Role
Our client is seeking a skilled Natural Language Processing (NLP) Engineer to join their innovative team in Oxford . This role focuses on developing and deploying cutting-edge NLP models and solutions that enable machines to understand, interpret, and generate human language. You will work on challenging projects involving text analysis, sentiment detection, machine translation, and conversational AI, contributing to products that interact with users in sophisticated ways. Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and train NLP models for various applications, including text classification, named entity recognition, and question answering.
- Develop and implement efficient text processing and feature extraction techniques.
- Integrate NLP models into larger software systems and applications.
- Evaluate and fine-tune NLP models for improved performance, accuracy, and efficiency.
- Collaborate with data scientists and software engineers to deploy NLP solutions into production.
Requirements
- Master's or PhD degree in Computer Science, Linguistics, or a related field with an NLP focus.
- Proven experience (3+ years) in developing and deploying NLP solutions.
- Strong understanding of NLP concepts, techniques, and libraries (e.g., NLTK, spaCy, Hugging Face Transformers).
- Proficiency in Python and experience with deep learning frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch.
- Experience with data preprocessing, cleaning, and annotation for NLP tasks.
