About the Role
Our client is seeking a talented and experienced Natural Language Processing (NLP) Engineer to join their fully remote team. You will be responsible for designing, building, and deploying sophisticated NLP models and applications that enable machines to understand and process human language. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on challenging problems in areas like sentiment analysis, machine translation, and chatbot development, contributing to the creation of intuitive and intelligent language-based AI systems from the comfort of your home.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, train, and deploy NLP models for tasks such as text classification, named entity recognition, topic modeling, and question answering.
- Implement and fine-tune state-of-the-art NLP architectures, including transformers and recurrent neural networks.
- Process and analyze large volumes of text data, ensuring data quality and relevance for model training.
- Collaborate with product managers and software engineers to integrate NLP capabilities into applications.
- Stay updated with the latest research and advancements in NLP and computational linguistics.
Requirements
- Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Computational Linguistics, or a related field with an NLP specialization.
- 3+ years of professional experience in NLP development and deployment.
- Strong programming skills in Python and experience with NLP libraries like NLTK, spaCy, Hugging Face Transformers, and Gensim.
- Proficiency in deep learning frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow) for NLP tasks.
- Solid understanding of linguistic principles and experience working with diverse text datasets.
