Key Responsibilities

• Install, terminate, and test copper and fiber optic network cables.
• Mount and manage network hardware, including patch panels, switches, and routers.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and cable running lists.
• Perform thorough testing of installed cabling to verify performance standards.
• Troubleshoot and repair issues with network cabling infrastructure.
• Ensure work areas are clean, safe, and organized, adhering to all safety protocols.

Requirements

• Previous experience in network cabling installation or a related trade.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools used in cabling installation.
• Understanding of structured cabling systems and industry standards (e.g., TIA/EIA).
• Ability to perform cable testing and use diagnostic equipment.
• Strong work ethic and the ability to work effectively in a team.
• Good physical stamina and willingness to work at heights or in confined spaces as required.
