Network Infrastructure Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage core network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
• Monitor network performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to optimize speed and reliability.
• Implement and maintain network security measures to protect against threats and ensure data integrity.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive network documentation, including diagrams, configurations, and operational procedures.
• Provide remote support for network-related issues, troubleshooting complex problems to resolution.
• Collaborate with IT teams to plan and execute network upgrades and expansions.
• Stay abreast of emerging network technologies and industry best practices.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Network Infrastructure Engineer or similar role.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, routing protocols (e.g., BGP, OSPF), switching technologies, and firewall management.
• Experience with cloud networking environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in network monitoring and analysis tools.
• Excellent remote troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent practical experience are preferred.
