About the Role

Our client is seeking a vigilant and proactive Network Operations Center (NOC) Analyst to join their monitoring team, working remotely from Norwich . This role is critical for the continuous surveillance of the company's network infrastructure, ensuring operational stability and rapid response to any incidents. You will be responsible for monitoring network performance, identifying potential issues, and initiating corrective actions to prevent service disruptions. Key Responsibilities

• Monitor network performance, availability, and security using various monitoring tools.
• Identify, diagnose, and escalate network and system incidents according to established procedures.
• Respond to alerts and alarms in a timely manner, initiating troubleshooting processes.
• Document all network events, actions taken, and resolutions in the ticketing system.
• Communicate effectively with other technical teams, engineers, and management regarding network status and incidents.
• Perform routine checks and provide first-level support for network-related issues.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a NOC , IT support, or network monitoring role is preferred.
• Familiarity with network monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Nagios, Zabbix).
• Basic understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, routing, and switching.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective reporting and collaboration in a remote setting.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends, as required by the operational schedule.
