Key Responsibilities

• Actively monitor the network infrastructure using sophisticated monitoring tools, identifying potential issues and anomalies.
• Respond promptly to network alarms and incidents, performing initial diagnosis and implementing corrective actions.
• Escalate unresolved issues to senior engineers or relevant teams, providing clear and concise incident reports.
• Perform routine system checks and maintenance tasks to ensure network health and performance.
• Document network events, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions in the incident management system.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of NOC procedures and tools to enhance operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Experience in a Network Operations Centre (NOC) or similar network monitoring role, preferably within telecoms .
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, routing protocols, and common network services.
• Familiarity with network monitoring tools (e.g., Nagios, Zabbix, SolarWinds).
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple incidents simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Relevant IT or networking certifications are advantageous.
