Locum Opportunity: Band 6/7 Occupational Therapist – Neuro Rehab in Leicester, Earning up to £31 Hourly – Ongoing

This exciting role involves working within a 16-bedded unit designed for patients requiring extended physical and cognitive rehabilitation, typically lasting 6 to 8 weeks. What you will do:
- Deliver high-quality occupational therapy to patients within our Neuro Rehab unit, focusing on patients who require 6 to 8 weeks of physical and cognitive rehabilitation treatment.
- Conduct and interpret cognitive assessments to develop personalised treatment plans for inpatients.
- Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide holistic patient care.
- Engage in regular patient progress reviews and adapt therapy interventions accordingly.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date patient records and reports.
Requirements:
- A degree or equivalent qualification in Occupational Therapy.
- Proven experience in treating neurology patients in an inpatient setting.
- Proficiency in conducting cognitive assessments.
- Current registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Recent experience working within the NHS, demonstrating a thorough understanding of the healthcare environment in the UK.
