Care Assistants - Night shifts -immediate start in Whetstone, N20

• £250.00 signing-on bonus
• £250.00 retention bonus (12 months service)

Ventry Care is recruiting Care Assistants, for night shifts,to our residential care homes in Barnet.We care for older persons / older persons living with dementia.

THE ROLE

To help residents get ready and into bed/settle down for the night, and assist them in the morning.

To provide a high standard of care overnight, including hygiene, continence, mobility, dressing and general care.

To carry out regular checks on residents and the building, and assist residents with any care needs that arise.

To answer emergency bells or calls from residents immediately and seek further assistance if necessary.

In the time available between attending to residents, undertake domestic duties, e.g dusting and hoovering, cleaning bathrooms, preparing tables for breakfast, etc.

As a team player, you will follow guidelines and policies and have good 'IT and systems knowledge' to support residents care plans and care records. We use care management software, and smartphone + tablet hardware, to record the care provided to our residents.
