Looking for a rewarding role where you can genuinely make a difference?
At Comforting Healthcare, we believe great care starts with great people. Every night, our carers provide reassurance, comfort and support to people who rely on us to help them stay safe and independent in their own homes.
Whether you're an experienced carer or looking to start a career in care, we'd love to hear from you. If you're kind, reliable and enjoy helping others, we'll provide the training and support you need to succeed.
What you'll be doing:
No two nights are the same. You'll support clients in the comfort of their own homes with a range of care needs, helping them remain safe, comfortable and independent throughout the night. Depending on each person's care plan, you may assist with personal care, medication, moving and handling, repositioning, continence care, preparing for bed, and providing reassurance and companionship.
You’ll also complete welfare checks, accurately record the care you've provided using our digital care system, and report any changes or concerns to ensure every client receives the highest standard of care.
Your role may include:
- Providing personal care with dignity and respect
- Supporting clients with moving and positioning
- Assisting with medication (following training)
- Carrying out regular welfare and safety checks
- Providing companionship and reassurance
- Following individual care plans
- Promoting independence wherever possible
Above all, you'll be helping people maintain their independence while giving families peace of mind.
We're looking for people who are:
- Naturally caring and compassionate
- Reliable and dependable
- Respectful and patient
- Able to work independently as well as part of a team
- Committed to providing high-quality care
Previous care experience is welcomed but not essential. If you have the right values and a willingness to learn, we'll provide full training.
We know that feeling valued at work matters. That's why we offer:
- Competitive hourly pay
- Flexible shifts to suit your lifestyle
- Paid training and ongoing development
- Career progression opportunities
- Uniform and PPE provided
- Supportive management team available when you need us
- Paid travel time (where applicable)
Requirements
- Right to work in the UK
- Good spoken and written English
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (preferred but not required)
- Willingness to work night shifts, including weekends
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
