Night Cleaner - Retail Premises

About the Role

Our client is seeking a reliable and diligent Night Cleaner to maintain the pristine condition of their retail premises in Plymouth . Working independently during overnight hours, you will be responsible for ensuring that the store is immaculate and ready for business each morning. This role is fundamental to creating a positive shopping experience for customers and a pleasant working environment for staff. We are looking for a self-motivated individual with a keen eye for detail who can work efficiently and unsupervised to uphold high standards of cleanliness and presentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of all retail floors, including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming.
• Clean and sanitize all customer-facing areas, including fitting rooms and restrooms.
• Empty all waste bins and ensure rubbish is disposed of correctly.
• Dust shelves, displays, and fixtures to maintain a professional appearance.
• Clean windows and glass surfaces to ensure they are streak-free.
• Report any maintenance issues, breakages, or security concerns observed during the shift.

Requirements

• Previous experience in commercial or retail cleaning is preferred.
• Ability to work unsupervised and manage time effectively during night shifts.
• Understanding of basic cleaning chemicals and their safe usage.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for the duration of the shift.
