Location: Daventry

Salary: £58,656 per annum

Hours: 48 hours per week, Monday to Thursday, 18:00-06:30

Job type: Full-time, Permanent

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Workshop Supervisor to join an established commercial vehicle business based in Daventry. This is a hands-on leadership role within a busy workshop environment. You will supervise a team of technicians, coordinate the nightly workload and ensure all maintenance and repair work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

The Role

• Supervising and leading a team of technicians during nightly workshop operations
• Coordinating and scheduling vehicle maintenance and repair work
• Allocating work and monitoring progress throughout the shift
• Ensuring an efficient workflow and that deadlines are met
• Providing technical guidance and support to the workshop team
• Overseeing the availability of required parts and workshop supplies
• Implementing safety procedures and ensuring regulatory compliance
• Supporting and training team members to maintain high service standards
• Remaining actively involved in the technical side of the workshop

What We're Looking For

• Strong technical knowledge of HGVs or commercial vehicles
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience
• The ability to lead and support a team of technicians
• A hands-on approach to workshop operations
• The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• A highly organised, reliable and safety-conscious approach
