Overview

Working in our Children's Homes means being a part of a young person's day-to-day life. This involves being there for the highest highs and lowest lows. Our night support workers help young people regain their childhood and create pathways to become well-rounded adults—an incredibly rewarding role. Although challenges may arise, there are also small moments that feel like significant victories.

Our homes accommodate young people with social, emotional, and mental health needs. Our aim is to create the best possible outcome for those in our care. Night support workers find fulfillment in making even the smallest positive changes in young people’s lives, celebrating these little victories.

Key Responsibilities

• Take care of the home and young people through the night
• Support young people during severe trauma, feeling ill, upset, or unable to sleep
• Build rapport and become a trusted person for young people
• Perform tasks around the home such as paperwork, cleaning, and laundry during quieter times
• Identify and support each young person's needs, personality, and potential, guiding them towards a positive future
