About the Role
Our client is seeking a talented NLP Engineer to join their innovative AI team in Wolverhampton . You will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying natural language processing solutions that enhance understanding and interaction with text data. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement NLP models for various applications, including text classification, named entity recognition, and topic modeling.
- Build and fine-tune transformer-based models (e.g., BERT, GPT) for specific tasks.
- Design and develop APIs for NLP services.
- Preprocess and clean large volumes of text data.
- Evaluate and optimize the performance of NLP models.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in NLP research and techniques.
Requirements
- BSc or MSc in Computer Science, Linguistics, or a related field with an NLP focus.
- 2+ years of professional experience in Natural Language Processing.
- Proficiency in Python and NLP libraries such as spaCy, NLTK, or Hugging Face Transformers.
- Strong understanding of machine learning concepts and deep learning architectures for NLP.
- Experience with data preprocessing and text representation techniques.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms is a plus.
