Our client is looking for a specialist NLP Engineer to join their growing AI team in Glasgow , working in a hybrid model. You will focus on developing and implementing natural language processing solutions that enable machines to understand, interpret, and generate human language. Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy NLP models for tasks such as text classification, sentiment analysis, named entity recognition, and machine translation.
• Process and analyze large volumes of text data, extracting meaningful features and insights.
• Integrate NLP solutions into existing applications and platforms.
• Collaborate with data scientists and software engineers to refine and enhance language understanding capabilities.
• Stay abreast of the latest research and advancements in the field of NLP and computational linguistics.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Computational Linguistics, or a related field with an NLP focus.
• Proven experience in developing and implementing NLP models and applications.
• Strong programming skills in Python, with expertise in NLP libraries (e.g., NLTK, spaCy, Hugging Face Transformers).
• Familiarity with deep learning frameworks and their application to NLP tasks.
• Experience with text data preprocessing and feature extraction techniques.
