Non-Contentious Construction Solicitor (12m FTC)

Overview

A leading UK law firm is seeking an experienced construction lawyer to join its established construction practice on a 12-month fixed-term contract .

The role will focus on non-contentious construction matters , including the drafting and negotiation of construction and engineering contracts, consultant appointments, development agreements and associated documentation. The successful candidate will work on high-quality, often complex projects for a diverse and prestigious client base.

Responsibilities

• Draft and negotiate construction and engineering contracts, consultant appointments, development agreements and associated documentation for high-quality, complex projects.

• Contribute to a collaborative team environment and support senior colleagues on varied matters within the construction practice.

Qualifications

Candidates should have strong experience in non-contentious construction work gained within a recognised practice. Qualification in England & Wales is not essential , and applications are welcomed from lawyers qualified in other jurisdictions with relevant UK construction law experience. Excellent drafting skills, commercial awareness and the ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment are key requirements.
