Non-Medical Prescriber - Walthamstow

Working hours: 22.5hrs/week (9am to 5pm, 3 days per week between Monday-Friday, you may choose the days you want to work) Contract dates - asap for at least 2 months (will be reviewed after 2 months and potentially extended to the right candidate) Pay rate: negotiable, depending on experience

In your role you will:

• Initiate prescribing of and/or make amendments to prescriptions of opiate and/or alcohol substitute treatments and other related medications.
• Take a lead role in developing the prescribing clinic, acting as a point of contact for other workers and partner agencies around prescribing issues.

Essential Qualifications and Experience

• Current NMC registration
• Previous post registration experience as NMP (in substance misuse)
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
