Monday - Friday | 40 Hours PW

Vickerstock are delighted to be working in partnership with a highly successful and well-established food manufacturer in Monaghan, who are currently seeking an experienced and enthusiastic NPD Technologist to join their growing Culinary Innovation team.
This is an exciting opportunity to join the business at a particularly interesting point in its growth, with significant investment in new product development and innovation, including a brand-new Centre of Excellence and state-of-the-art development facilities.
You'll play a hands-on role in taking products from concept through to commercialisation, working closely with Culinary Innovation, R&D, Production, Quality and Procurement.
The Role
- Support NPD projects from concept through to launch
- Develop and trial new products in the dedicated innovation kitchen
- Support factory trials, scale-up and process optimisation
- Conduct sensory, stability and product testing
- Manage specifications, samples and development documentation
- Work cross-functionally to deliver projects on time
- Support customer presentations, sampling and site visits
About You
- We're open to candidates from a range of backgrounds. You may have experience in NPD, R&D, Food Science, Technical, Quality, Production or a culinary environment
- Must have food manufacturing experience
- Genuine passion for food, with a hands-on approach, strong attention to detail and the drive to develop your career in NPD
- Confident representing the company and its values from an NPD perspective, building and maintaining positive relationships at all levels
- Full clean driving licence
