Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the supervision and care of children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
• Support the planning and delivery of engaging, age-appropriate activities and play opportunities.
• Help prepare and serve snacks and meals, adhering to dietary requirements and hygiene standards.
• Maintain a clean and tidy learning environment, tidying toys and equipment.
• Observe children's development and report any concerns to the room leader or manager.
• Build positive and trusting relationships with children and their families.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a childcare setting is desirable but not essential; a passion for working with children is key.
• Good communication and listening skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• A basic understanding of safeguarding principles.
• Willingness to undertake training, including First Aid.
• A patient, caring, and reliable nature.
