Nursery Assistant

About the Role

Our client is seeking an enthusiastic and caring Nursery Assistant to join their well-established childcare facility in Leeds . You will support the Nursery Manager and Room Leaders in providing a stimulating and safe environment for children aged 0-5 years. This role is fundamental to the daily operations of the nursery, involving direct interaction with children, assisting with activities, and ensuring a positive experience for all. Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the planning and delivery of engaging activities for children across different age groups.
• Supervise children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
• Support children's personal, social, and emotional development.
• Help maintain a clean, tidy, and safe learning environment.
• Assist with meal times and personal care routines as needed.
• Communicate with parents/guardians about their child's day and development.

Requirements

• Some experience in a childcare setting is desirable.
• An understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) principles.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• A genuine passion for working with young children.
• Willingness to undertake further training and development.
