About the Role

Our client is looking for a committed and caring Nursery Assistant to join their friendly team, offering flexible and remote support where applicable, based in Nottingham . This role involves assisting in the day-to-day care and education of young children, contributing to a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment. You will support Room Leaders and Senior Educators in delivering engaging activities and ensuring the well-being of each child. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about early childhood development to gain experience and contribute to a reputable childcare provider in the Nottinghamshire region, with potential for remote administrative tasks or training.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in providing high-quality care and education for children aged 0-5 years.
• Support the implementation of the EYFS curriculum through play-based activities.
• Ensure the safety, health, and well-being of all children, adhering to nursery policies.
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating learning environment.
• Communicate with children, parents, and colleagues in a positive and professional manner.
• Undertake administrative tasks as required, which may include remote work.

Requirements

• A minimum of a Level 2 qualification in Childcare or Early Years.
• Experience working within a nursery or similar childcare setting is advantageous.
• Good understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• A positive attitude and a genuine love for working with children.
