About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced and dynamic Nursery Manager to lead their dedicated team in Milton Keynes . This is a pivotal role responsible for the overall operation, strategic direction, and quality of care within the nursery. You will be instrumental in creating an exceptional learning environment that promotes the holistic development of every child, while also managing staff, fostering strong parent partnerships, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong vision for early years education and a commitment to excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day management of the nursery, ensuring a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment for children.
- Lead, motivate, and manage the nursery team, including recruitment, training, and performance management.
- Develop and implement high-quality educational programs and policies aligned with national standards.
- Manage budgets, resources, and operational logistics effectively.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with parents, guardians, and the local community.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, including safeguarding and health and safety regulations.
Requirements
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for the Children and Young People's Sector (or equivalent).
- Significant experience in a senior childcare management role.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- In-depth knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework and relevant regulations.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- A strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting child welfare.
