Nursery Manager - Early Years Centre

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Nursery Manager to lead their established early years centre in Plymouth . This senior role involves responsibility for the overall management and strategic direction of the nursery, ensuring the delivery of exceptional childcare and education. You will lead and inspire a dedicated team, maintain high standards of care, and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of the nursery's operations, including staffing, budget, and resource allocation.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of childcare professionals, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
• Ensure compliance with all legal requirements, including Ofsted standards, safeguarding, and health and safety regulations.
• Develop and implement high-quality educational programs and care practices aligned with the EYFS framework.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with parents, carers, and the local community, promoting the nursery's reputation.
• Oversee admissions, marketing, and financial management of the nursery.

Requirements

• A minimum Level 5 qualification in Leadership and Management in Childcare or equivalent.
• Substantial experience in nursery management or a senior leadership role within an early years setting.
• Proven track record of outstanding practice and successful Ofsted inspections.
• Strong understanding of child development, curriculum planning, and safeguarding procedures.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Financial acumen and experience in managing budgets and resources effectively.
