About the Role
Our client is seeking an inspirational and highly organised Nursery Manager to lead their dedicated team in Manchester . This pivotal role involves overseeing all aspects of nursery operations, ensuring the delivery of exceptional early years education and care in compliance with all regulatory standards. You will be responsible for staff management, curriculum development, parent engagement, and financial oversight, driving the nursery towards achieving its strategic goals. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities, a deep understanding of childcare best practices, and a commitment to fostering a nurturing and enriching environment for children aged 0-5, while promoting a positive and collaborative workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, manage, and motivate the nursery staff team to achieve high standards.
- Develop and implement an engaging, high-quality curriculum in line with EYFS.
- Ensure compliance with all legal requirements, policies, and procedures, including safeguarding.
- Manage nursery budgets, admissions, and operational logistics effectively.
- Build strong, positive relationships with parents and the wider community.
- Conduct regular staff performance reviews and provide professional development opportunities.
Requirements
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Children and Young People's Services or equivalent.
- Significant experience in a senior role within an early years setting, with proven management skills.
- In-depth knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage framework and Ofsted standards.
- Strong understanding of safeguarding, health, and safety regulations.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
- Passion for early childhood education and commitment to continuous improvement.
