About the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced and inspiring Nursery Manager to lead their reputable childcare setting in Leeds . You will be responsible for the overall management and strategic development of the nursery, ensuring the delivery of high-quality education and care that meets the needs of all children and families. This pivotal role involves leading and motivating a dedicated team, managing operational aspects, and fostering a positive, safe, and stimulating learning environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities, a deep understanding of early years practice, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of childcare and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the nursery, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and policies.
- Lead, manage, and support the nursery staff team, promoting a culture of professional development and high performance.
- Develop and implement effective childcare programs and educational strategies, adhering to the EYFS framework .
- Manage budgets, resources, and operational finances efficiently to ensure the nursery's financial health.
- Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with parents, children, staff, and external agencies, promoting excellent communication and engagement.
Requirements
- A relevant Level 5 or above qualification in Leadership and Management in Children's Care, Learning and Development, or equivalent.
- Significant experience in a senior management or deputy management role within a nursery setting.
- In-depth knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and relevant legislation.
- Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team of childcare professionals.
- Excellent financial acumen, operational management, and communication skills.
