Key Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and inspire a team of childcare professionals, providing ongoing support and professional development.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, policies, and procedures, including safeguarding and health and safety standards.
• Develop and implement engaging, age-appropriate educational programs and activities to promote child development.
• Manage nursery budgets, resources, and admissions effectively to ensure operational efficiency.
• Cultivate strong partnerships with parents and families, fostering open communication and a collaborative approach to childcare.
• Conduct regular staff appraisals, performance reviews, and training sessions to maintain a high-performing team.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a senior childcare role, preferably as a Deputy Manager or Manager.
• A strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework and child development principles.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Relevant childcare qualifications (e.g., Level 3 or above in Childcare and Education).
• Demonstrated ability to manage a team, budgets, and operational functions effectively.
• A thorough understanding of safeguarding policies and procedures.
