Nursery Manager

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and inspirational Nursery Manager to lead their outstanding nursery in Cambridge . You will be responsible for the overall management and strategic direction of the setting, ensuring the delivery of the highest standards of childcare and education. This senior role requires a passionate leader with a proven track record in nursery management, dedicated to fostering a positive culture for staff, children, and parents, and driving continuous improvement in all aspects of the nursery's operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the nursery, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and safeguarding policies.
• Lead, motivate, and manage the nursery team, fostering a culture of professional development and high performance.
• Develop and implement high-quality curriculum and learning experiences based on the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) .
• Manage admissions, parent communications, and marketing to ensure high occupancy and satisfaction.
• Financial management, including budgeting, fee collection, and resource allocation to ensure sustainability.

Requirements

• Minimum Level 5 qualification in Leadership and Management or relevant Early Years qualification.
• Significant experience in nursery management or a senior leadership role within childcare.
• In-depth knowledge of the EYFS framework , Ofsted standards, and relevant legislation.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong business acumen and financial management capabilities.
