Nursery Manager

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and dynamic Nursery Manager to lead their dedicated childcare facility in Nottingham, Nottinghamshire . This leadership role is responsible for the overall management and operational success of the nursery, ensuring the highest standards of childcare, education, and safety. You will lead a team of childcare professionals, foster a stimulating and nurturing environment for young children, and build strong relationships with parents and the local community, contributing to the nursery's reputation for excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the nursery, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and quality standards.
• Lead, motivate, and manage the nursery team, including recruitment, training, and performance management.
• Develop and implement engaging, high-quality early years education programs, adhering to the EYFS framework .
• Oversee child safety, welfare, and safeguarding procedures, ensuring a secure and supportive environment for all children.
• Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with parents, carers, and external agencies.

Requirements

• A relevant Level 5 qualification in childcare and early years education (e.g., Diploma in Leadership for the Children's and Young People's Sector) or equivalent.
• Significant experience in a senior role within a nursery or early years setting, with proven management experience.
• In-depth knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework and safeguarding requirements.
• Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• A strong commitment to providing outstanding childcare and fostering child development.
