Nursery Manager

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and dynamic Nursery Manager to lead their well-established childcare facility in Leeds . This role demands a proactive individual with a passion for early years education and a proven ability to manage a team, operations, and the overall quality of care provided. You will be responsible for ensuring a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment for children while fostering strong relationships with parents and staff. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the nursery, ensuring high standards of care and education are consistently met.
• Lead, manage, and support the nursery staff team, including recruitment, training, and performance management.
• Develop and implement engaging, high-quality early years programs in line with the EYFS framework.
• Ensure all legal requirements, safeguarding policies, and health and safety regulations are strictly adhered to.
• Manage budgets, resources, and admissions effectively to ensure financial viability and operational efficiency.
• Build and maintain positive, collaborative relationships with parents, guardians, and the wider community.

Requirements

• A minimum of Level 3 qualification in Childcare and Education (or equivalent).
• At least 3 years of experience in a senior role such as Deputy Manager or Manager within a nursery setting.
• Strong leadership, management, and communication skills.
• In-depth knowledge of the EYFS framework, safeguarding procedures, and relevant childcare legislation.
• Proven ability to manage budgets and operational aspects of a nursery.
• A passion for providing outstanding early years care and education.
