About the Role

Our client is looking for an inspiring and dedicated Nursery Manager to lead their facility in Edinburgh . This is a key leadership role responsible for the overall management, quality of care, and educational provision within the nursery. You will ensure a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children, while leading and motivating a team of childcare professionals. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of early years education, excellent operational skills, and a passion for child development, contributing to the nursery's reputation for excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the nursery, ensuring compliance with all regulations.
• Develop and implement high-quality early years programmes and policies.
• Lead, manage, and support a team of nursery staff, fostering a positive work environment.
• Manage budgets, resources, and admissions effectively.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with parents, children, and the wider community.
• Ensure the highest standards of safeguarding and child protection are maintained.

Requirements

• Recognized Level 4 or 5 qualification in Early Years Education or Management.
• Significant experience in a senior role within a nursery or childcare setting.
• In-depth knowledge of the Curriculum for Excellence and relevant childcare legislation.
• Proven leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
