NURSERY MANAGER Opportunity

Location: Lambeth, London

Salary: Up to £50,000 (Flexible for the right candidate)

Full-Time | Permanent

Monday to Friday | 40 Hours a Week

Are you an experienced Nursery Manager looking for the opportunity to lead and shape a growing nursery with real autonomy and long-term career progression?

Our client, a well-established private English/French nursery in Vauxhall, is seeking an ambitious and passionate Nursery Manager to take full responsibility for the day-to-day running of the setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day management of the nursery
• Lead, motivate, and develop the nursery team
• Maintain exceptional standards of care, learning, and safeguarding
• Ensure compliance with EYFS and Ofsted requirements
• Build strong relationships with parents and carers
• Manage occupancy and support the continued growth of the nursery
• Create a positive, engaging, and nurturing environment for both children and staff

About You

• Previous experience as a Nursery Manager or Deputy Nursery Manager ready to step up
• Strong leadership and people management skills
• Excellent understanding of EYFS, safeguarding, and nursery compliance
• Commercial awareness and a passion for delivering outstanding childcare
• Dedicated, proactive, and committed to creating an exceptional nursery environment
• Able to commit to a full-time schedule of Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 6:00pm

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
