About the Role

Our client is seeking an inspiring and experienced Nursery Manager to lead their well-established childcare facility in Manchester . You will be responsible for the overall day-to-day management of the nursery, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care and education that meets the needs of children and their families. This pivotal role involves managing a dedicated team, overseeing operations, maintaining regulatory compliance, and fostering a positive and stimulating environment for both children and staff. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a genuine passion for early childhood development.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and lead a team of childcare professionals, fostering a positive and collaborative work culture.
• Ensure the nursery operates in full compliance with all statutory regulations and company policies, including safeguarding.
• Develop and implement effective operational plans, budgets, and marketing strategies.
• Oversee the planning and delivery of a high-quality curriculum that supports children's learning and development.
• Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with parents, guardians, and the wider community.
• Conduct regular staff performance reviews, providing feedback and identifying training needs.

Requirements

• A minimum Level 3 qualification in Childcare, Learning and Development, or equivalent.
• Significant experience in a senior role within an early years setting, with demonstrable management experience.
• In-depth knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and safeguarding legislation.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
• Proven ability to manage budgets and ensure commercial viability.
