About the Role
Our client is looking for a qualified and enthusiastic Nursery Nurse to join their dedicated team in Liverpool . You will be responsible for providing high-quality care and education to children within a specific age group, fostering their development in a safe and stimulating environment. This role involves planning and implementing engaging activities, observing and documenting children's progress, and working collaboratively with colleagues and parents. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of early years principles and a genuine passion for nurturing young minds in Merseyside .
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver excellent care and education to children, following the EYFS framework and nursery policies.
- Plan and execute stimulating, age-appropriate activities that support children's learning and development across all areas.
- Observe, assess, and record children's progress, maintaining accurate and confidential records.
- Ensure the safety, health, and well-being of all children within the nursery, adhering strictly to safeguarding procedures.
- Build positive and supportive relationships with parents and carers, communicating effectively about their child's development and experiences.
- Work collaboratively as part of a team to create a nurturing and inclusive environment for all children.
Requirements
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Childcare and Education.
- Previous experience working as a Nursery Nurse or in a similar role.
- A strong understanding of the UK Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
- Excellent knowledge of safeguarding policies and procedures.
- Good communication, observation, and assessment skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a team and contribute to a positive nursery atmosphere in Liverpool .
