About the Role

Our client is actively recruiting a dedicated and nurturing Nursery Nurse to join their established childcare facility in Bradford . This role is essential in providing a safe, stimulating, and caring environment for young children. You will be responsible for supporting the lead practitioners in delivering high-quality early years education, focusing on the individual needs and development of each child. Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the delivery of the curriculum, planning and preparing stimulating activities for children.
• Observe, monitor, and record children's progress, ensuring their developmental needs are met.
• Maintain a safe and hygienic environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
• Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues, fostering excellent communication.
• Support children during meal times, personal care routines, and rest periods.
• Contribute to the overall ethos and aims of the nursery.

Requirements

• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Childcare and Education or equivalent qualification.
• Previous experience working within a nursery or early years setting is advantageous.
• Knowledge of child protection policies and procedures.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• A patient, caring, and enthusiastic approach to working with children.
• Willingness to undertake further training as required.
