About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Nurse to join their team on a part-time basis in Belfast . This role is pivotal in providing a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children, supporting their early development and learning. You will work collaboratively with experienced professionals to deliver high-quality childcare, focusing on individual needs and promoting a love for learning. Key Responsibilities

• Support the implementation of the EYFS curriculum, delivering engaging and educational activities for children.
• Assist in maintaining a safe, clean, and stimulating environment for all children.
• Observe, monitor, and record children's progress, communicating effectively with parents and colleagues.
• Provide a high standard of care, including assisting with personal hygiene, feeding, and napping routines.
• Work as part of a team to ensure a smooth-running nursery and positive experience for children and families.
• Uphold the nursery's policies and procedures, particularly regarding safeguarding and health and safety.

Requirements

• A minimum Level 2 qualification in Childcare and Education (or equivalent) is required; Level 3 is preferred.
• Previous experience working with children aged 0-5 in a nursery or similar setting.
• Good understanding of the EYFS framework and child protection guidelines.
• Strong communication and listening skills, with a caring and patient demeanor.
• Ability to work flexibly as part of a team.
• Commitment to continuous professional development in childcare.
