About the Role
Our client is seeking a caring and qualified Nursery Nurse to join their dedicated team in Brighton . This role is instrumental in providing a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment for children from birth to five years old. You will be responsible for supporting the daily care needs of children, planning and implementing engaging activities, and ensuring their developmental progress is monitored and encouraged. Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality care and education to children, following the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
- Plan and deliver a range of stimulating and age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development.
- Ensure the safety, welfare, and hygiene of all children, maintaining strict adherence to policies and procedures.
- Build positive and trusting relationships with children, encouraging their social, emotional, and physical development.
- Communicate effectively with parents and carers, providing feedback on their child's progress and engaging them in their learning journey.
- Work collaboratively as part of a motivated and supportive nursery team.
Requirements
- Hold a minimum Level 3 qualification in Childcare, Early Years Education, or equivalent.
- Previous experience working as a Nursery Nurse or similar role.
- Comprehensive knowledge of the EYFS framework and safeguarding procedures.
- Excellent communication, observation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage challenging behaviour positively and constructively.
- A valid enhanced DBS check is essential.
