About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated Nursery Nurse to join their dedicated team in Stoke-on-Trent . You will play a vital role in providing a high-quality, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children aged 0-5. This position involves actively participating in daily routines, supporting children's learning and development through play-based activities, and ensuring their safety and well-being at all times. You will work collaboratively with colleagues and parents to foster a positive atmosphere that encourages curiosity, creativity, and social interaction, making a tangible difference in the early years of each child's life.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and educational activities aligned with the EYFS framework.
• Supervise and care for children, ensuring their safety, health, and emotional well-being.
• Assist in the preparation and serving of healthy meals and snacks.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and stimulating learning environment.
• Observe and document children's progress, contributing to their individual learning journeys.

Requirements

• Level 2 or 3 qualification in Childcare or equivalent.
• Experience working in a nursery or early years setting.
• Thorough understanding of safeguarding and child protection policies.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Patience, enthusiasm, and a genuine love for working with children.
