Our client is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Practitioner to join their vibrant childcare facility in Birmingham . You will play a crucial role in providing a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment for young children, supporting their early learning and development through play-based activities. You will work within a supportive team dedicated to delivering high-quality care and early years education in the heart of the West Midlands.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and implement a range of engaging and educational activities for children aged 0-5 years.
• Ensure the safety, well-being, and development of all children in your care, following nursery policies and procedures.
• Build positive and supportive relationships with children, acting as a key person for a designated group.
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about their child's progress and daily experiences.
• Maintain accurate records of children's learning and development, contributing to observation files.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure a high standard of care and education is consistently delivered.

Requirements

• Level 2 or 3 qualification in Childcare and Education (or equivalent).
• Previous experience working in a nursery or early years setting.
• A strong understanding of the EYFS framework and child development.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Must be able to obtain an enhanced DBS check.
