Nursery Practitioner - Full Time

About the Role

Our client is recruiting a motivated and experienced Nursery Practitioner to join their busy team in Southampton . This full-time position involves providing exceptional care and educational support to children aged 0-5. You will be responsible for facilitating children's learning and development through engaging activities, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment. This role is crucial in maintaining the high standards of care that the nursery is known for and offers a rewarding career in early years education.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality early years education following the EYFS framework .
• Plan and implement stimulating activities that promote children's cognitive, physical, and social development.
• Observe, assess, and record children's progress, providing feedback to parents.
• Ensure the safety, health, and welfare of all children under your supervision.
• Maintain positive and professional relationships with parents, carers, and colleagues.
• Uphold nursery policies and procedures, including safeguarding and health and safety.

Requirements

• Level 2 or 3 qualification in Childcare and Education (e.g., CACHE, NVQ).
• Proven experience working with young children in an early years setting.
• Solid understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) .
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Enhanced DBS check required.
