About the Role
Our client is seeking an enthusiastic and caring Nursery Practitioner to join their dedicated team in Birmingham . This role involves providing exceptional care and education to children aged from birth to five years, within a safe and stimulating setting. You will be responsible for supporting children's learning through play, fostering their social and emotional development, and working closely with families to ensure a consistent approach to childcare. We are looking for individuals who are committed to creating a positive and engaging experience for every child, contributing to their journey of discovery and growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality childcare in line with the EYFS framework, promoting learning and development.
- Build strong, supportive relationships with the children, understanding their individual needs and interests.
- Prepare and deliver engaging learning activities, ensuring a balance of indoor and outdoor play.
- Maintain accurate records of children's learning and development, sharing progress with parents/carers.
- Uphold the nursery's policies and procedures, particularly regarding safeguarding, health, and safety.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to create a positive and effective team environment.
Requirements
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Children's Care, Learning and Development.
- Experience of working within a similar childcare setting.
- Knowledge of safeguarding policies and procedures.
- Ability to plan and deliver effective learning experiences.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
