About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated and nurturing Nursery Practitioner to join their reputable childcare setting in Plymouth . This role is fundamental in providing a stimulating and safe environment where young children can learn, play, and develop. You will work as part of a supportive team, engaging children in a variety of activities, assisting with daily care needs, and fostering their early learning journey. Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality care and education to children aged 0-5, following the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
• Plan and implement a range of stimulating activities that promote children's physical, cognitive, social, and emotional development.
• Observe children's progress, maintain accurate records, and contribute to their learning journals.
• Ensure the safety, health, and well-being of all children under your supervision.
• Build positive and collaborative relationships with parents and carers.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and stimulating learning environment.

Requirements

• A minimum of a Level 2 or 3 qualification in Childcare, Early Years, or equivalent.
• Previous experience working in a nursery or early years setting.
• A strong understanding of child development and the EYFS framework.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A genuine passion for childcare and a commitment to professional development.
