Location: Little Elms Daycare Nursery Sydenham

Department: Little Elms Sydenham

Compensation: £30,160 – £31,200 per year

Welcome Bonus: £1,000 (paid in two instalments of £500 each, subject to normal tax and NI deductions)

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Nursery Room Manager to be based in our Sydenham Nursery. The nursery offers state‑of‑the‑art facilities, with bright indoor rooms and spacious outdoor areas.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year’s experience in a Nursery Room Leader role or equivalent
• Level 3 or above qualification in Early Years childcare
• Excellent knowledge and understanding of the EYFS and statutory framework, and SEND
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Ability to use your own initiative
• Passion for children shown in day‑to‑day interaction

Key Considerations:

• This position requires an Enhanced DBS Certificate and satisfactory employment references.
• Successful candidates must undertake online safeguarding training and be subject to an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Check from the DBS.
