Clinical Governance and Lead Nurse – Occupational Health

Location:West Yorkshire

We are recruiting for aClinical Governance and Lead Nurse – Occupational Healthto join an established Occupational Health service on a full time permanent basis.

This is a senior clinical leadership role with responsibility for the delivery, governance and development of the Occupational Health nursing service.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Occupational Health nursing service.
• Provide clinical leadership and line management to a team.
• Overseehealth surveillance, screening and health monitoring programmes.
• Maintain clinical protocols, audit, governance and compliance processes, includingSEQOHS.
• Undertake a proportionate caseload ofmanagement referrals and nurse-led clinics.
• Provide specialist Occupational Health advice to managers, senior leaders and HR/People teams.
• Support initiatives aroundhealth, wellbeing, attendance and workplace health.
• Monitor service demand, performance and outcomes.
• Support the development of clinical practice and the nursing team.

About You

• Registered General Nurse qualification.
• RecognisedOccupational Health Nursing qualification.
• Extensive Occupational Health experience.
• Proven experienceleading and developing a clinical team.
• Strong knowledge ofhealth surveillance, screening and statutory compliance.
• Experience with management referrals and nurse-led clinics.
• Good IT and reporting skills.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Occupational Health Lead looking to take on asenior leadership role with significant responsibility for clinical governance and service development.

Salary - Circa £55,000 - £64000 per annum.
