Locum Band 6 Occupational Therapist - Integrated Community Team - Highlands, Scotland
Temporary Staffing Agency (TSA) is recruiting an experienced Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join an NHS Integrated Community Team in the Highlands, Scotland on a locum basis.
Start Date: ASAP Duration: Ongoing
Rate: £32 Location: Highlands, Scotland Working Pattern: Full Time
The Role
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Occupational Therapist to work within an Integrated Community Team, delivering high-quality, community-based rehabilitation and support services across the Highlands.
The successful candidate will manage a varied caseload, carrying out occupational therapy assessments, care planning, and intervention within patients' homes and community settings. You will play a key role in supporting individuals to maximise their independence, safety, and quality of life.
The role will also involve providing guidance and support to non-registered staff, contributing to the effective delivery of community services and ensuring high standards of patient care.
Requirements
- HCPC-registered Occupational Therapist
- Previous experience working at Band 6 level or equivalent
- Experience working within community-based services
- Strong assessment, rehabilitation, and care planning skills
- Ability to work independently and manage a varied caseload
- Experience supporting and supervising non-registered staff
- Excellent communication, organisational, and documentation skills
- Full UK driving licence is essential
- Access to a car is desirable due to the geographical nature of the area
- Muct be willing to have a PVG processed
- Must have the right to work in the UK for the full duration of the assignment

- This role covers a large geographical area within the Highlands.
