Ocean import clerk - freight

NEW VACANCY: We are recruiting for an EXPERIENCED ocean import clerk who has worked for a freight forwarder and has strong understanding of import processes and customs entries, previous experience of CDS customs system is a required. The full job description covers all associated skills, previous experience, and any qualifications that applicants are expected to have. You will be processing ocean freight import shipments from start to finish, creating files and updating customers throughout. Duties include: Booking hauliers & liaising with 3rd party transport providers Completing import customs entries for sea freight on CDS Invoicing xwwtmva and billing of shipments Quotes where required or passing any potential new business quotes to the sales team Customer service Salary range £30k - £33k
