About the Role
Our client is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Office Administrator to manage their operations in Sheffield . This role is central to ensuring the efficient day-to-day functioning of the office, supporting staff, and maintaining a welcoming and organized workspace. You will be the first point of contact for visitors and staff, managing inquiries and ensuring smooth administrative processes. The ideal candidate is adaptable, possesses strong interpersonal skills, and is adept at multitasking in a busy environment, with a desire to contribute to a positive workplace culture. This role offers a flexible hybrid model, allowing for a balance between in-office collaboration and remote work.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the reception area, greeting visitors, and answering phones in a professional and courteous manner.
- Oversee office supplies inventory, ordering new stock as needed and managing budgets for office expenses.
- Coordinate meeting room bookings, ensuring facilities are prepared and equipped for scheduled events.
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail and courier services, ensuring efficient delivery and dispatch.
- Provide administrative support to team members, including document preparation, filing, and data entry.
- Assist with the organization of company events and social activities.
Requirements
- Previous experience in an Office Administrator or similar role.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with strong attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
