Job Description
V-Recruit are looking for 1 x Office Administrator to start work in the Rotherham area, as soon as possible.
Duties to include working in a busy construction office environment carrying out general administrative duties, such as, but not limited to the below:
* Answering the telephone, acting as first point of contact for queries
* Signposting any calls or emails to directors or other team members as appropriate
* Organise and maintain filing systems, both physical and digital, ensuring easy retrieval of information
* Dealing with portal enquiries and assisting to schedule work to be carried out
* Perform data entry tasks accurately using Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
* Assist in scheduling appointments, meetings, and maintaining calendars for staff members
* Support quotes, invoicing, and other financial administrative tasks where required
* Handle general clerical duties including photocopying, scanning, and ordering office supplies
* Collaborate with team members to streamline office processes and improve efficiency
£13.46 per hour
Initially sickness cover but this has potential to become permanent for the right candidate
9am-5pm, with some flexibility to working hours if needed
Monday to Friday, fully office based
Immediate start
The right candidate will have;
* Proven office experience with strong organisational skills
* Proficiency in computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and Google Workspace
* Excellent administrative experience with high accuracy and attention to detail
* Good phone etiquette with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
* Previous industry experience preferred but not essential; training will be provided if necessary
* Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
* Strong organisational skills to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
